經過將近一個月的等待 (前情提要), 終於拿到所有的建築許可 (其實我什麼都沒做, 都是特斯拉搞定的), 可以開始安排開工的日期.

幾天前故意不接一通來自 Las Vegas 的電話, 因為最近真的太多 spam, 想說不理它就好. 沒想到電話的另一端竟然留下 voicemail (通常 spam 是不會留言的), 原來是來自特斯拉的 scheduleing team. 這則留言讓滿心期待太陽能屋頂早日上線的我振奮不已, 馬上回電希望趕快敲定開工日期.

modell.tw: Good morning! I just missed a call from you and it seems like we’re ready to schedule the solar roof installation

Tesla: Yes, let me look up your file… … … Okay, I found it and let me check our calendar… … … It looks like we can kick it off on 11/17.

modell.tw: Wait. What? Can you say that again? I don’t quite get it.

Tesla: Sure. The earliest date we can offer you right now is 11/17. Depends on our teams’ availability it might change though. Would this date work for you?

modell.tw: Okay… just let me make sure. It’s five months from now.

Tesla: Yes, sir.

modell.tw: Well… I am gonna say yes no matter what because I am not sure how my calendar will look like in November now.

當我聽到 11/17 的時候, 我心中的聲音是 “Are you kidding me?” 早就聽聞從下訂到開工需要等一段時間, 但是五個月真是出乎意料. 無論如何, 至少有進度. 現在就期望特斯拉趕快提升產能, 擴編施工團隊, 趕快消化掉目前手上的訂單.
